In 1860, the great-grandfather in this space terraced by dry stone walls, had a pink cocciopesto cistern built, a sort of cuba, with the aim of collecting rainwater always precious for peasant culture. Today the tank is its symbol and the guiding thread of the project that wanted to respect the original environment in its natural beauty.
On the green lawn, surrounded by sunflowers in summer, it is pleasant to sunbathe or take a nap on the sun loungers in the shade of the ash that acts as an umbrella to the cistern.
